I actually spoke to my midwife today about a birth plan and she said that less people seem to be doing one up these days. It sounded like she was trying to talk me out of doing one as well. She kept repeating that it just sets people up for something that may not be able to be achieved.

Not sure if I will do one up to be honest, Thinking about the birth is scary enough without writing it down

I don't think it's wise for them to get you to plan too far ahead, it'll just stress you out. Mine will be: as natural as possible please, open to suggestion if need be, would like to hear the gender from my o/h.
