Stupid consultant

Just had an 18 week scan and he didn't even show us the baby!
My mum took me (OH is away in Wales) i would've thought he might've shown her or at least ask if she wanted to see. He didn't even say hello just told me to get on the bed. He did a full check on his heart but didn't once show us his head or even hands and feet! Felt like a total waste of time, especially as he said he wasn't in a great position but everything seems ok but they can't guarantee anything (exactly what they said at my last scan)

Thats rubbish! I think sometimes they forget that although it is routine for them its an extremely exciting and new experience for those they're scanning! x
