Struggling with money any advice?

Ooo another idea, not sure how feasible tho? As you said fuel costs are quite high, would any of the journeys your oh does be possible by cycling? I used to cycle 8 miles each way to work before I got pregnant pretty easily and could prob have managed further. Saved a fortune on petrol! Not sure how far he has to travel tho.

With housing benefit the baby will be classes as needing a room so don't let them tell you otherwise. If I applied for a council house then baby wouldn't be classes until over 1 but if your privately renting and recieving housing benefits its worked out differently. Ive been getting almost all my rent paid for me in a 2 bed with just me and LO and we've been here since she was about 7 months.

 Sorry I can't offer more than that. I'm trying not to think about my outgoings compared to income at the moment as its dire until I find work and since Ive not been a student all my housing and council tax benefits have mucked up but because of my loan I still cant apply for extra benefits! Grrr. Once your LO is here you'll find it so much easier, you get alot more and its far more managable

It gets to me how many people get away with it, when I was at job centre the other day the bloke asked how we lived. We have told them we cant afford 3 meals a day they just said right like we were lying. Other half has looked in to cycling only problem is most of his journey is on duel carriage ways so would be dangerous. When bean gets here will fight there decision she wont need a room. We wouldn't lie to the Benifit system but can see why people do,

Benedict system, lol. Even in council I think u would be allowed 2, because otherwise they would make u overcrowded . this was 3 yes ago tho . when baby comes u should get full child tax credits on that income too. About 55/60 a week for 1 child I think? And this makes u both eligible for free health, ie dentist, prescriptions, optician etc, if that helps? X

thanks leanne1b will look in to it :) as for the spelling I blame another night on the sofa and baby brain!!
