My stretch marks have got awful in the last few days. One in particular is raised and bumpy, looks like a long line of spots :-\ and omg, the whole bump is insanely itchy but very very sore :-(

I've been using oil on it morning and night and palmers during the day just to soothe. I spray on bump and me cooling mist during the night when its just too much.

Anyone else got any tips or suggestions?

Xx

Oh and I'm not bothered about how they look, after all a tiger has to earn her stripes :) its just a way to ease the discomfort!

No tips as mine aren't here yet... But they will be... Things are getting itchy and looking mottled and I just know they'll all appear overnight! Ib paint myself in cocoa butter after every shower, but that's cause I love the smell too

Feels like a countdown to when they'll appear...I hate wearing bikinis anyway so never mind....xxx

Ah poor you! My tunmy was itchy for weeks and drove me mad! I've so far escaped stretch marks...maybe me being an overweight teenager did have some benefits haha!
If your tummy is itchy and sore maybe some calamine lotion might help soothe it x

I had none till around 35 weeks, they started very slowly and are getting worse daily!
I do have some calamine, might try it. I've even tried Eurax but it didn't stop the itching!

Its almost enough to want to baby here on time!

With my first my stretch marks didn't arrive until after the baby did, this time I have quite a few on the bottom half of my bump (I think they are the ones from last time plus a few extras) and it is really itchy with loads of raised bumps. I was using oil and palmers but have changed to just a plain moisturiser (E45 I think) which I put on through out the day and I've found this has helped. I read online that an unperfumed moisturiser is best to use and I've been using it to wash with as well x

Mine sprung up quite late too and now I have loads!

I use palmers bump butter which I think is just cocoa butter, I find that nicer than the oil.

Don't really have many good tips, sounds like you are doing the right things anyway but I try to have a little scratch through my clothes rather than on bare skin as you can scratch and make it more sore...

Mine are coming with a vengance now!! Think just keep moisturised, we wont be able to prevent them now!

bio oil is going to be a must afterwards to try and make them fade :)

I have the most awful stretch marks ALL across my belly. I don't think anyone can beat them. Highly depressing! X

They are a bit depressing aren't they! Well ill try alternating between E45 and aqueous calamine I think. Hopefully that will help.
So itchy but scratching the area doesn't help at all!
