Labour is different to be honest I felt like it was more of a tightening or an ache rather than like a stabbing pain, it's strange but your body just knows what to do I'll have id wife to help, I didn't feel I needed anymore than the gas and I'm not good with pain, but there's other pain relief if you need it take it, whatever gets you through, you will be ok xo
