Stress

So our lb and the baby will be sharing a bedroom.
Hubby ordered the wood to make our lb a floating bed, wardrobes and drawers for them both.
He's great at what he does and since the wood arrived on Thurs he's been working really hard to get the stuff built.
Cue the chaos!
I wanted to paint the room before new stuff went in and I also wanted to bring in the new stuff in turn, like the new drawers, move the stuff from the old drawers and then get rid of the old ones etc. hubby doesn't see where I'm going from and he's just going in like a bull in China shop!
I was really looking forward to making our lb's room 'their' room but now because of the arguing I can't be bothered at all! Please tell me we're not the only couple to disagree over the bedroom lol?

Tmum this is exactly the way me and hubby are. I have my own ideas of how something should be done, he has his. He goes ahead with his method, I throw a tantrum and usually we meet in the middle (but not without the tantrum). The room will get done some way and maybe not the way you wanted but it will get there

honestly, don't sweat the small stuff, just cry instead lol! Good luck sorting it out x

Aww bubbles! He took the huff and went to Homebase last night haha! I was huffing and thoughts I'd brush the floor, banged my head on the corner of a shelf so that led to me having a wee cry haha!!! The room is now completely empty and MIL was drafted in to wash and prime the walls lol!! Ceiling being painted when the primer dries. Hubby off to work to pick up some of the furniture. I didn't want it in before the room was painted but needs must I think! At least it hasn't ended in divorce...yet haha!! Xx

Grrr tell him you don't want his lovely hard work ruined by white ceiling paint splashing it with speckles, nightmare to roller or brush a ceiling full of stuff! Have a shuffle in redt of house to store for a few days like lounge etc

JJ how are you doing?? I'm missing your wisdom and experience in Tri 3, not long now before you're with us!
Tbh I think I maybe over reacted I just couldn't see where he was coming from because I had my own ideas lol! It really didn't help that our lb had far more stuff than what I had realised. I thought we could've moved it out in stages to the landing...it's taking over our bedroom ! It's mental so I'll be going through it all as it's going back into the room. My MIL painted the room and the only thing that was put to the wall was the floating bed so she was able to paint round it by getting into it lol! xx
