Just thought I would share this true story with you as I have read some of you are worried about not 'loving' the name you have chosen...
On my first pregnancy I was convinced I was having a boy, not sure why but I was although deep down I really wanted a girl (but would love either). My husband and I could only agree and loved the name Amelia and we really struggled for a boys name. We had a couple but did not really like any boys name so when we was in the delivery suite we only put down a girls name!!! We need up having a girl!!!! So went with Amelia
On my second pregnancy we could not agree or like any girls names!!! We only really loved the name Max for a boy... I did not think I would be lucky enough to have one of each sex so was certain we was having another girl. We did not decide on any girls names at all and guess what... We had a boy and called him Max lol

I am pregnant again now and have a girls name and a boys name that we really like so it doesn't matter what sex it is this time lol

I found that when I was pregnant only the girls names came to me easily - was so hard thinking of a boy name, I have two daughters and no sons ;)

This time we have both a boy and girl name, but the girl name we have had for two years since ttc#3 and I sooo can't wait to use it!

Aw, what girls name is it? It will be lovely for you to have either sex then xxxx

That's a great story, you've been so lucky! We have one of each picked out but the boy names came to us so much easier than the girl names.
Just 13 weeks (give or take) to find out which we'll get to use!

We found it easier with boys names first time, although still took three days to pick the right one.

This time have a shortlist for a boy (mainly cos we still like a few) and one girls name. Trouble is we don't agree on girls v easily, I like girly names but dh prefers stronger less feminine names. Hmmmm might mean another blue bump

I couldn't find a boys name we loved either. But I've always loved the name Phoebe for a girl and thats what we had :)

Penny Laine Austin. I so can't wait to use it! We've kinda decided this is our last baby though so might not get to! :(

I agreee, only boys names come easily to me, I could rattle off about 10 I love right now, but only one girls name , I had decided on last time Marina Penny (so loving your name choice HappyFeet, as since ttc again, I have loved the Marina less....and swung to the Penny. (I also had a chicken called Henny Penny, so oh was not so keen last time).

So I don't love girls names, really struggle and guess what? I have 3 boys and a girl..... true

Thanks JJ Mum! I've been sitting on it for ages. We like Jasper for a boy, although I think I prefer Joseph. Can't decide for sure though so I guess this baby will be a girl going by the rule lol.

I don't like any boys names, have had my girls name for 15 years and keep having boys :( x

Happy feet I love Jasper too!! also nice an unusual
Cosmic - I rreackon you will uses your girls name next time, you have had it that long , it must be meant to be..... ivf with gender thingy....

i struggled with boys names this time round and im having a boy haha but then again i do have two other boys so that might be the reason lol x

We had lovely names for either sex last time and had a boy.

This time we chose a boys name quite early on and only eventually settled on a girls name after 20wk scan, as there just wasn't one we loved!

Iwe've only got girls names and struggling for boys and I'm convinced it's a boy but would love a girl if I'm honest lol
