Hi guys,
well i finally have my first hospital apointment so i told work that i would need to leave early to go to the appointment only to be told that i would have to book annual leave to attend, i was fuming to say the least so i called the HR dept and they confirmed that i am entitled to go to the appointment. After relaying this info to my boss she soon changer her tune and allowed me the time off to attend, im so flipping glad i didnt just sit back and take her word for it.

Can anybody tell me what to expect at the first appointment, im a little nervous but excited at the same time :) xxxxx

Go you :)

1st hospital appointments vary massivly. I was asked questions about our TTC history etc and put onto Clomid, OH had already had swimmers looked at. Ive since had 3 lots of bloods and 2 scans in 6 weeks, and confirmed PCOS.

How long have you been TTC for?

It is really exciting getting your 1st appointment, makes it feel all real :) xxxx

ooh thank you, weve been ttc for just over 2 years now, oh has slow(ish) swimmers, 1 in 5 are active instead of 1 in 3 so will see what they say, really hope they can do somthing to help xxx

Well done Jazzy :)

It's crazy what they try to get away with!

Is your OH going to be attending too?

At my appointment they just did some comparisons on what is normal and what isn't and where proceedures they think should be the best place to start and what diagnostics need to be done int he meantime.
