Stomach cramps but go when I fart... sorry TMI

Hi ladies
Sorry for TMI but I keep getting the odd stomach cramp which is pretty uncomfortable but once I fart its gone. Ive had no diarrhoea and im making sure that im drinking plenty fluids. Could it just be baby pressing down on my bowls now?
Thing is my partner hasnt been great since friday and lately he is at the toilet 7 or more times a day for a number two (always said he was full of shit lol) he is going to the docs tomoz tho. Could it be a bug?
Dont know whether to wait till he has been to docs and play it by ear and she if my pains get worse or not......

I've had tummy cramps on and off during my whole pregnancy, I have IBS though so usually after my tummy pains I go for a number two. If they really bad its an episode if you get me x

That has happened (and is still happening) to me. As soon as he moved down, I became a wind bag (sorry for tmi!!) I had the cramps with it too, which were relieved once I farted, just like you. However, not ruling out the bug either as symptoms could be either. As long as you're not losing fluids you should be ok. Buy as I'm sure everyone will say, there is never any harm in getting checked over, especially if there is a bug around you. It probably is just the pressure from the baby, but if you need reassurance, get it!!! Xxxx

brilliant.

LO is prob pressing down on your bowels making them more sluggish to move stuff along, which might be the painful sensation you are feeling. Once LO shifts it might ease. Perhaps a little more bran in your diet might help?
