I know a lot of your babies are still waking in the night but is there any thing eles I can do to try and keep Oilver asleep? He wakes 3 or more times now. He used to just wake once or twice.

Its really getting me down now, I know it should not as once he has fed he goes back to sleep. I think i am so tired as I have had a busy few weeks.

He has baby rice twice a day now and I am going to get back in to a routine and try giveing him a bottle of expressed milk before bed.

During the day he will only have boob for a few minutes before he wont take any mnore. But in the night he will feed for 15 mins or more.

I am so lucky with him I should not complain, but I am so tired today. Next week things will be back to normal so hope fully I can cope better with him waking more!

Hi hate to be a spoil sport but Ewan is one and still wakes once or twice a night for a bottle! i've tried the giving water, and feeding more solids during the day, but nothing makes any difference.
We must just have hungrys babes - Once he's had a bottle he goes straight back to sleep so thats one godsend really.

He's always been a stocky boy so don't know if that makes a difference

Not really sure what to suggest hun but you could try giving him something more than baby rice as he could just be getting hungry, you could try a rusk & see how he gets on.

I bet they are only saying that when really they are up the same as us.

One girl i met always said her baby was really good at night always slept through - but now at 8 months baby has started waking 3 x nighltly... YES there is a god!

i was a boaster to  braydon slept pretty much thro till i went back to work and has since totally given up

Hi Jadie

I really feel for you honey, I know exactly what you are going through. Olivia wakes frequently during the night but she doesn't feed for 15 mins - more like 5 then falls asleep then I put her back in her cot and 5 mins or 1 hr later she wakes up crying again.

Do you think Oliver could be teething? I am going to give Olivia some calpol tonight if she wakes frequently again because she has some other symptoms of teething so it might be she's in pain.

Sorry I don't have any suggestions, but wanted to let you know that our house is also up during the night !!

Brody has been teething too, and is still waking up to 4-5 times a night on a bad night.

I'm going back to what I did before and thats puttinghm down awake. He used to be sick if I did this, so I started rocking him...now I have to get him into sleeping by himself without using me as a dummy.

Here's a good link

Coby has been waking up a few times a night vrying but i just put his dunny in and he goes back off for a while.

he cut his first tooth 2 nights ago... and last night he slept through, it was lovely!

joshua was 3 when he stopped waking and getting into our bed. tried everything, rusks, water, nothing worked and yet kieran slept from 6 weeks. i think youre either blessed with a sleepy baby or not
