Still getting positive pregnancy tests

Hi

Well, after having a period and what I believed to be a chemical pregnancy, I am still getting positive pregnancy test results. Is this normal? It was nearly 2 weeks ago when I thought the preg test results were getting fainter, and then AF came. Doctor thinks I am pregnant but having a threatened miscarriage. I thought the tests would be negative by now if it was a chemical pregnancy, but they are not. Did one this morning and although it's not a super dark line, it is still a line. It's driving me crazy not being sure!!!! I have no symptoms although I am peeing a lot! I would only just be 4 weeks if I still am pregnant!! I've done about 8 tests and they have all been positive, except for one where a line came up after the 15 mins time.

this is a tricky one , could you ring your local hospital to maybe see if you could be seen in the EPU (early preg unit) maybe they could do a HCG blood test to se what ur levels are like ? im sorry u are going thru this confusing time..hope it turns out okay hun

I cant believe you havnt been sent for blood tests. I'd annoy your doctor till they agree to at least 2 , if they wont see another doctor.

Aw hon I really feel for you. I agree with Hols I think you should get yourself down to the docs and ask them for a blood test. Try to get a female doc if you can xxx
