Still confused and need your help!

Only 8 weeks to go and still as confused as ever on boys names!

I originally wanted Cooper, I loved it, OH HATED it! I nagged and nagged, and nagged lol and eventually he says "ok, if that's what you want we'll call him Cooper!"

Then I start thinking "pooper scooper" and "super trooper" and I hate to think I am giving him a name that could be up for ridicule lol

So sadly it's back to the drawing board I think

We kinda like, but not love (I still love Cooper )

His middle name will be David, surname Knowles.

A girl would have been so bloody easy! but boys names are just urghhhhh for me

The only one I love off your list is Zac. I have to say though, I wouldn't worry too much about nicknames/name calling about their name. Children are mean. If they're going to name call they'll do it anyway regardless of the child's given name iygwim. I actually really like Cooper.

oooh tambo for a lady whos good at producing boys, I thought boys would be easy, I'm the same on genders produced, but can never find girls names, (well I have two this time...!)

So you like more traditional names, going by your kids names, until you said cooper, really different to your others..

Thanks everyone who suggested for me, I read some out to my OH and all of a sudden he said "What about Tyler?"

Tyler is one of the very first names I suggested and he apparently hated it! I thought he was joking but apparently he has no memory of that conversation! obviously he was to busy playing his daft game and wasn't even listening to me as usual

So I think we have his name decided, Tyler David Knowles the more I say it the more I like it

I like Carlyle but it would always be shortened to Carl I reckon, still a lovely name though.

Cooper is still my number 1 choice but I'll happily settle for Tyler as its a very close second x

I know a cooper and he's never been called either of the nicknames u thought. Tyler is lovely but cooper would grt my vote. Its quite different xx

Hun, kids get picked on for everything these days, fat/thin, short/tall, glasses/freckles. You name it and they target it!

So if you love Cooper as much as you seem to from your posts then go for it! x

Ooooooooh it's so haaaaaaaard to choose a name!!!!

Cooper still gets my 10/10 vote and Tyler is a very very close second at 9.9/10. So it's not like I am choosing a name I don't like, I just don't like it as much as I do Cooper

The only reason I have agreed on Tyler is because my OH really likes the name and he hates the name Cooper. He is only agreeing to it because I like Cooper so much so I actually feel horrible for calling our son a name that I love and his Daddy hates. I just feel like I have to compromise as obviously he is our son not just mine lol

oh will love him whatever his name, and once he is born and he starts using the name , it will suit him and he will just be little cooper, he will love it too..

My oh hated Devon when I had it as our boys name in 2002! we had a girl, so it was never used, but he knew that was babys name if a boy. He didn't even question it 9 yeaars later when Devon was born.. and it really suits him..

oh 's are less adventeurus than us , you decide.. he will love it when baby named.

I wish I could put my foot down and call him Cooper without a pang of guilt for not giving OH a say on the matter! I also named all my other children, this is the first one I am compromising on and it is so bloody hard to give someone else a say, regardless of my OH's feelings! My other kids Dad just accepted the names I chose without batting an eyelid so I never had a problem but my fella now is, lets just say a bit more, "opinionated" grrrrr.

I still have 8 weeks ish to change his mind though so all is not yet lost I suppose. I just hope when I announce my baby boys name he will be a Cooper x
