So after trying all the manouvres to turn LO, it has not worked. Booked in for ECV on Monday and absolutly pooing it.

Has anyone had this done before, or know of anyone who has? I know its going to be painful but is my last chance of having a normal vag delivery.

So upset  if it doesn't work then will have to have c section at 39 weeks.

No easy option here :(

Hiya, my baby is also breech although I@ve got a few more weeks to try and get him to turn. I'm really upset as really wanted a vaginal birth.

Zebrastripes has had an ecv and she might be having another one. Her first didn't work but she'd be a good person to tlak to about what it's like.

There's a post lower down on this page by her which you might find interesting.

Think I would probably try it if my baby is still breech at 37 weeks. They do have a 65% success rate, but they are very unconfortable. It's if there's any risks to the baby where I migth reconsider.

Turn babies turn!!!

Just wanted to send you some hugs  as you are having a hard time. Such a shame LO won't turn for you on his/her own accord.

Having a CS isn't the end of the world and at least you get to see your baby sooner rather than later. Try not to worry about it too much. If that's what has to happen you will cope.

It must be a trying time right now with wanting LO to turn, so sending BIG hugs BX  You could try acupuncture or hypnosis, both have good success rates, and remember babies have a nack of doing things according to their timetable, so LO could turn they day of the birth, you just don't know, it doesn't automatically mean you can't try for your vaginal delivery, but obviously whatever feels comfortable for you and always discuss with your MW/GP

Thanks guys.

I have some reflexology booked on Tuesday too so worth a try hey!

xx

Good luck with the reflexology, I have heard it is good and a lot less intrusive than ECV!

I had a pregnancy massage yesterday and she was also a reflexologist so she did some special baby turning stuff to my feet but no joy, junior is well and truly stuck now!

Good luck BX! I hope reflexology works! Keeping my fingers crossed!

mine was very low in my pelvis but now i dunno if babys breech again or not.
