statutory maternity pay

last time i was on mat leave got 9 months' statutory maternity pay, it had just gone up from 6 months' only 2 months previously.

DF thinks its gone up again to 12 months' since??? is he right? ooh hope so! oh and dont dads get 6 months pat leave now?

As far as im aware trix you can take 9 months paid plus 3 months unpaidn (dependant on your works poilicy you may get paid) Im 99.9% sure dads get max of two paid weeks off.

You are right BUT it hasnt come into effect yet and probably wont until April 2010, I found this:

dad can only get 2 weeks paternty leave im afriad.

+ 9 month maternity pay for women + 3 months (unpaid)

again they were hoping to bring it in for this year 1 year maternity pay however it has been delayed
