Stabbing pain

I have an odd stabbing pain on and off and it can also feel like a burning sensation on my right side above belly button. I'm 17 weeks and didn't know if it was just stretching pains? Last night I know my stomach felt really tight like it was taught? It's not excruciating more annoying and has only happened today. Should I call the midwife to just check?

Hey, I've had pains exactly like this on and off all through the second trimester. I'm 23 weeks now and still get them. I went to see the midwife and she said it was just stretching pains and nothing to worry about. I did feel loads better for seeing her though so if you're worried I'd give your midwife a call even if it's just for piece of mind xx
