Spring Cleaning?

I was wondering if anyone else does any serious spring cleaning?

I've done the shed and I'm now trying to make my was through a room full of crap and box everything up to go into the loft.

Then i need to do the garage Might even need to hire a skip lol

Anyone else making a serious effort to purge the house of anything that isn't necessary?

I'm half way through one now!! Although we're moving in a couple of weeks so it's mainly for that and OH p**sed me off earlier and I clean when I'm annoyed lol

I want to, too much crap is really bad for the Feng Shui!!

Awkward though as the spare room has a lodger in it.

OH should have a car soon so I'll aim for more clearing once we've got it and we can drive it off to the recycling centre!

I've tackled a few problem areas but my wardrobe (its a walk-in) needs some serious de-cluttering and a few other areas. Will tackle it when the kids are on holidays

I've been doing mine today! But it was more of a, my house is a shithole cos of half packed boxes that no longer need packing clean! My rooms still full of shit, but general rule of thumb there is that my room only gets tidied if I'm goin to b getting any

I feel like I've been spring cleaning since February Today I'm putting baby clothes in the new wardrobe and chest of drawers. Only done half and I've had to stop before I induce labour I'm pooped!!!!

I did a big clean yesterday and feel so much better now! The loft and garage definately need to be tackled soon, but keep putting it off as they are completely full of junk! Mamafy - majorly jealous that you have a walk in wardrobe! X

I really must pull my finger out and start. I managed to do one room today, then got bored and gave up

Might try another room later. I really want to wash the carpets, thinking of renting one of the rug doctor things and giving the house a good going over, but OH wants to wait to do that nearer the time of blump being born......

im still unpacking from when we moved in in August!! I'm trying to get oh to do the bits of diy in the nursery then i can crack on and really clean/ tidy!!!

is it just me or does anyone else get really stressed when oh leaves his shoes/ jacket out rather than putting it away!

My OH is rather good at 'putting' away... a hell of a lot better than he was 7 years ago anyway. But he's a pain in the arse for cleaning the bloody grill pan after him. Went to do bangers and mash for dinner and had a greasy grill pan... cant stand it... cause then the whole house smells like the fish fingers you cooked 4 days ago LOL xxx

All my stuff is from when we moved... about 16 month ago

In the end i seemed to have dumped everything out of the boxes and sorted half of it out before i ran out of proper plastic storage boxes

So now i'm simply left with a pile.

I clean when mad too! Although it's more cleaning hubby's stuff by moving him into a different bedroom rather than anything constructive

I have 3 cupboards in my hall and decided to clear them out today, its amazing what crap you keep!! Filled 3 bin bags lol Got to do upstairs now.
