speech at 17 months *update 2* had appointment

Finally got a phone call today from the speech therapist and shes coming round on Friday morning to asses him. I'll let you know how we get on!

Speech therapist was here for an hour this morning trying to get Nathan to say something. Nothing at all. She said he has delayed speech and should be doing a lot more than he is at his age (almost 19 months). Shes putting us forward to go on a course once a week for 2 months with a therapist at the local childrens centre so hopefully that will help

ope it goes well kelly, my little boys 4 and has delayed speech development and is autistic and has been waiting all year. So im glad you had a appointment so quick!

Bethany was very quick and Josh i found barely said a word until 2.5? i was really worried and he had 1 appointment for speech therapy when he was 3 but then started talking pretty much instantly and has been fine ever since.

at least they listened to you and now he can be more closly monitored and get more help in this area
