:(

I think this has started for me

I had it with Joe so know the signs :(, my back is uncomfortable and my pubic bone to the left is giving me real jip.

It was such a great pg (apart from all day sickness  ) up to now :wall:

Eeek! The physio told me there would be a few weeks in the mid twenties where baby is big enough to give you an additional 'core' that helps to stabilise things. I can't say it ever happened for me! Hope it's not too painful!

Bless you chick, hope it doesn't get too bad  xx

How's you're sciatica Toon? Sorry for Hijacking Mamafy!

How's you're sciatica Toon? Sorry for Hijacking Mamafy!

Its all better, thank you so much for asking! It got better day by day (felt like a life time tho) and it was only today i noticed it was all better when i was carrying both the boys together. I wouldn't have wished it on my worst enemy so i am so grateful its gone xx

Oh no! Can you get to see a physio or would that not help yet?

I'm not due to see consultant until I'm 24 weeks but suppose maybe my own dr could?

Anyway its eased today, went to bed really early last night and rested all evening and it did help both the pubic pain and back pain. :yay: I'll get a belt if it starts again :)

Has anybody had a belt? and dose it help? I had the best first 20wks eva then on ive been in so much pain my whole pubic bone is just killing me the school run is hell first thing on a morning it normally takes me 10-15mins but now 25+, when I turn over in bed I have to let out a big moan as it just kills to lift my leg up. I havent seen my mw since 16wk im there next wk for 28wk app so guess I will just tell her about it then, I got it with my last but much later so I just put up with it for the last few wks but this time I could cry. Sorry to hear about you mamafy its early for you to start isnt it .

Lanny I had three different belts and it feels amazing as you're pelvis actually feels as it should, but they are useless to wear for any length of time (the ones I had anyway) because they were so rigid. I was given a huge tubigrip that went from just under my boobs to down over my hips and it was great and very comfy, not so good in the heat though ;) I've resorted to being a beached whale now, I can walk to the car (if it's parked close!).

Mamafy I get this quite seriously too but not as early as you, poor thing!
i thought I was going to get stranded yesterday away from home (paralysed in last pregnancy) really can't wait to stop work next week as it is now becoming unbearable. Last night i nearly cried with the pain in my groin. Had physio and she recommended an ice pack for a few minutes a day! I laughed as i thought about serving up the same parsnips for a roast dinner but last night i was so desperate i tried an ice pack wrapped in kitchen roll and IT WORKED!!!!
Feel so much better today! The belts are so uncomfoatable and add to the ligament pain and no point in taking paracetemol as I'd be overdosing
