Sorry i'm so late typing this.. i've been so busy constantly had just one hand, but now i have to, and abit of time (5mins) lol i'm going to tell you quickly how i met my lil man..

on 30th/31st oct i'd been gettin irregular pains.. sometimes close, but not strong (altho i thought they were painful at time) they kept coming and going, had abit of show, but didnt want to get hopes up.. anyway on 31st (friday) after a curry...
the pains had gone!! So i went to sleep at 10.30pm only for OH to wake me at 11.30 when he got into bed.. thats when the fun began (and i dont mean rudey cuddles)!! lol..

i got a HUGEEEE pain, and i knew then that was a real contraction... i tried to go bk to sleep for some reason, and then again.. a huggge pain... i knew i couldnt sleep thru this, so i sat up put telli on, started timing the pains.. they were every 5mins lasting around 40secs, so i rang hosptial around 1am.. they said to take 2paracetamol and jump in bath.. so i did this, they got worse.. every 3mins lasting over a minute.. i was in agony.. OH was SOO fantastic, dont know what i'd have done without him..

i rang hosptital bk around 2sh, they said ok you can come in but we'll prob send you bk home..
i was desperate for pain relief, so went in, got checked over, i was 5cm dilated and they took me straight to delivery..

where i was given G&A.. breathing thru contractions with OH and sis helping me..
i asked for an Epi, but they anitist (sp?) was in theatre.. so i had to wait, she kept sayin can u do it on G&A.. i was just too tired and in too much pain..

so after 3hours of G&A and another 3cm dilated (8cm) they gave my an Epi.. it was soooooooo hard keeping still, i rember just looking at OH (he said he saw how much pain i was in, it was upsetting him so much, that when i had Epi, it was a relief for him too) so much that he got half hour sleep lol..

My contractions were still coming strong, but not as effective, it slowed things down abit, i also had a window where Epi wasnt working, so i could still feel alot of pain on left side :'(

anyway... so 2.30 came and they told me to start pushing... she said do me 3pushes per contraction, i did 6 lol.. and my Lil son Oliver was out by 2.45pm.. 15mins of pushing... (rasberry leaf tea paid off hehe) had about 10 stitches, but sooo worth it!! heres a few iccle pics... hes now a month old and starting to get very cheeki, writing this brings it all bk making me cry.. wish i could re-live it again, its true you forget the pain, i know it hurt ALOT but cant remember what the pain felt like...
p.s when i was in labour all i kept saying was "its the pain that hurts lol" course its the pain, bless me"! xx
