Sore winky...

Kaiden is sore underneath his winky, it's like where it joins to his nuts, it's red and looks like a crack across it, looks so sore. Noticed it yesterday and tried sudocrem, bepanthen and today I've bought some metanium ointment as I've heard how good it is. Anyone come across this in their little boy before? I feel so bad for him. Gonna give it til fri morn, then off to the docs we go if no better. Xx

A few drops of tea tree oil in the bath also works wonders and metanium is fantastic stuff. I think wee boys all end up with something like this at some point x

Stanley had this for ages and it was slightly swollen but that's why I also swear by the tea tree oil and metanium route!! He is always clear the day after that xxx

Lol aww I know it's hard not to worry!! My 4 year old keeps telling me he's got a sore winky but I can't see anything obviously wrong so I think it's a trip to the docs for him!! Poor lad!! X

Yes do! A little tip though, mix it in a little milk before adding to the bath that way it works it way round the water rather than leaving a film on top xx

I've got a girl but sounds like nappy rash. I tried sudo cream and the one beggining with b and neither worked. I then tried "medicated nappy cream" which looks cheap but cleared it up! Xx

He's all clear now after using metanium ointment xx
