Sore thumb

Where Ellie hasn't been well, she has been sucking her thumb excessively and made it very sore. Can anybody recommend anything I can put on it? I have given her a dummy to try and stop her sucking it but I don't want to use anything like Sudacream as i don't want her sucking on that. Would / could bonjela help?

You could try a mild cortisone cream; (used for skin irritations like eczema, dermatitis etc) maybe ask a pharmacist.
