Hi there just looking for a bit of advice / help my son is 16weeks old and I'm breast feeding I have pretty much been sore the whole time had times where it's been better but generally always uncomfortable. Like a burny nip on the skin of my nipples iv been treated and tested for thrush and its not that have had swabs done with very little come back.
Iv tried lanolin cabbage leaves leaving them to the air my gp and health visitor are at a loss as am I!
Would b very grateful for any advice as I really don't want to stop feeding altho that's the general opinion from family n gp.
I go to a bf group too and have had latch checked. I'd just like to have a few months of feeding when it's not sore!!! Or is it just my nipples??!!!
Any advice welcome xxx

Is it sore all the way through the feed or just at the latch?
You say you've tried lansinoh?? Do you apply it before and after every feed? Applying it before certainly helps with pain.
Your nipples will toughen up.
If you can grin and bear it for now, I would. These things do tend to pass.
Maybe express every other feed to give your nipples a break?
Nipple shields may help?? xx

Yeh tried the lanisoh but maybe I need to b using it more I think I will defo stick it out I really enjoy it.
It's normally just the lat h but some days I feel it all the way thru my mum think its just me!!!
Will have more of a crack with the lanisoh thanks xxx
