I had my 32week MW appointment today. Urine fine, BP fine. At my 28 week showed that LO was breech. MW was feeling my bump trying to see if she could see whether he'd turned or not. She was pressing rather firmly & now my bump hurts :( especially around my belly button area - and after all that she wasn't sure whether he'd turned & that it's not really something to worry about till 36 weeks

:wall:

Is it just because of her prodding it's sore? Will the pain ease off?

Yeah mine tends to be abit sore after midwifes had a feel. Some can be more rougher than others,
It'll ease within a few days

At my last middy appointment she was having a feel to see where wee man was and she really hurt me but it does go within afew days.

I didn't experience this with my first baby but it was ITCHY! all the time!! I've seen pictures of people with bruised bumps so it must be quite common for it to hurt some people x

Aye, some midwives can be a bit rough. My bump has been palpated three times now, at 31, 34 and 36 weeks and the midwife who did the 34 week one really dug in. I felt sore and bruised for some time afterwards, made worse by the fact that I had to walk home. I had to keep reminding myself that they know what they are doing cos if it hurt me that much, surely bub wouldn't have liked it much either. Luckily, the other times, the midwives were gentle.
