As some of you may know I work at a baby store and today a couple came in with a fair few items, mattress, buggy and some clothing they had purchased online which they wanted to return. We have to ask wether the products are not suitable or faulty etc and the lady just said "we lost our baby". I couldnt believe how brave they were, I felt like crying I felt for them so much as hubby kept squeezing his wifes hand. When they had left the boss said she knew they were coming but for some reason didnt tell any of us which would have been a good idea as we would have seen what they were bringing in and asked no questions. Its awful because we do get this happening where ppl loose their babies and being pregnant myself makes me feel for them even more as I couldnt imagine loosing mine so how they must be feeling inside I have no idea. xxxx

Hope I havent upset you guys by putting this thread but some ppl are so strong arent they. Wishing you all a very healthy pregnancy and lovely little bundles of joy at the end. xxxxx

Oh those poor people and how insensitive of your boss to not let staff know before hand!
When we revealed we were expecting, one of my best friends had just miscarried and she wouldve been due a week before me, I felt awful for her but she was so happy for us and she's there for me everyday through every step. I don't undertsand how she copes, if it had been the other way round I doubt I wouldve spoken to her for ages as it wouldve been too hard to deal with.
There are some amazing people out there and I hope everything works out for the best for them in future! X

Yep, it's terrifying to think that people lose their babies at all stages of pregnancy and that really, until baby is here, you just don't know whether or not you are going to be unlucky. I have no idea where people get the strength. Since 20 weeks, I've not been able to even contemplate anything going wrong now -I can't bear the thought.
