so nervous to phone them back :s

The worst area that clamydia affects is the fallopian tubes so make sure ur in the queue for a HSG. Good luck.

gee thanks, hope are waitin list aint too long xx

Hey Abb I have also had Clamydia in the past too. It was in my 20's and had an inkling something was wrong. I was travelling Oz at the time and had been a little too care free and silly. I dont think that I had it for too long but you never know. I have always had a nagging feeling that it may effect my fertility but Ive certsinly had every test really for my tubes etc and theres no long term affect there. You know now and its getting treated! Chin up honey!

I always find its best to be honest.

Im pretty sure its just the tubes it does damage too so if ur getting a scan and things they will soon find out whats going on and sort you out. Please dont eva feel ur alone hun, i know when i had it i felt awful and alone but the more i finally spoke to people the more i did find out it was quite common. Im sure they will sort you out in know time, and fx it will be what has stopped you getting pg and you will have your bfp in know time.

must be a terrible shock for you, and to think you had it for 5 yrs!!
At least you can get treatm, ent now, and yes get rid of the thing that was holding you back xxx

My OH had it before he met me, and his swimmers are 7x better than the average, so it doesnt affect everyone. Hope your ok xxx

Sorry didn't mean to be so blunt but now u know u have it u can treat it and have your tubes checked.

In here with what we all go through there is no point not being honest.

Aww really sorry Hun, if you've already had an HSG or hysteroscopy then that would rule out any damage, I can't remember if you've had either but if you have then that should put your mind at ease as it would rule out scar tissue, but lots of women are fine afterwards, my friend had it and has 2 healthy little ones.

Good luck for the 19th. :)

xx

Hi hon sorry to hear this. It must be a shock. I agree with the other girls i am sure it will
Not have done any damage but the worse case just means you might have to go down the IVF route. That by passes the tubes so you are still in with a chance of a bambino. I am sure it will be five though but book a HSG xxxx

I'm sorry to read this ab. Big hugs. just to echo what the others have said, at least you can deal with it now. When do you start on antibiotics? im sure lots of women have it and go on to conceive just fine. Hope you're doing ok. how did hubby take the news? xxx

Hey Hun sorry to hear this. Don't feel a skank though it's so common. I had it years ago and also worry but I think generally it has to develop to pid to cause damage. I'm sure all will be fine xx

Sorry to hear this but at least it can be treated promptly

hey hun, a friend of mine had chlamidia yrs ago in uni after catching it off her bf (cracking way for her to find out her bloke was cheating on her, he was so bad for her)
anyway she told me the other day shes 13 weeks pregnant so dont worry about your fertility too much...no point in worrying unneccessarily, just cross that bridge IF you come to it

xxx

thanks hun, im just worried cause i kno i caught it b4 i met hubby so that means iv had it for over 5years.
think its only bad iv u'v got PID through it, i havnt got the symptoms for that.
xx
