so happy about name I like

We hadn't really been discussing names, as after 2 losses we didn't want to get too carried away.

But I had been thinking about a girls name I really liked!

Yesterday we had a 16 week gender scan and everything looked great, sonographer checked everything and we have a little girl

Dh then started asking about names, and I told him the name I have been secretly liking for some time.....and he also loved it and we think we are gonna go with it.

It's Etholle - pron. Ettollie - silent 'h' and 'th' pronounced 'tt'

not sure on origins etc - some places say African, some say it derived from French word for star Etoile......i always pick names that you cannot find any facts about, lol.....could never find anything out about my daughters name 'Mirren'.

It's a lovely name. Mirren is a Scottish name (I think) after a Saint (I think the Saint of Paisley who have a football team called St Mirren). I know of a few Mirrens up here... I think the main woman in Braveheart was called Mirren too... Of course you may be from Scotland and know that already. It's a lovely name too!
