Hi ladies 
This ismy first post on this forum so I appologise if Im posting this in the wrong place.
Im 27 years old and have been with my oh for 2 years now. We have not been ttc, infact we have never really discussed having children anytime soon. Ill explaine why Im posting and hopefully some of you will be able to offer some advise.
basically my cycles are usually 30/32 days, my period last month was due around about the 22nd July but came a week late, I did a test when I was 3 days late but it was negative then a couple of days later I hadmy period so that was that.I didnt really take note of the flow so cant really say if it was lighter than usual,this would be quite difficult to do anyway as I usually have very light periods anyway and usually only bleed for 3 days. Anyway about 11/12 days after my period I started spotting, now this never happens, the spotting lasted for 2 days. This worried me alittle as it never happened so I booked an appointment to see my doctor.
Knowing that one of the questions they were going to ask would be could I pregnant, I went and got 2 futher pregnancy tests. Both were clearblue plus. I did the first test and saw a definate faint line!! In total shock I drank until I was fit to burst so that I could do the second test, again that faint but definate line was there!! I will just say here that I followed the instructions to the last letter!
I instantly went online to read up about the accuracy of home pregnancy tests andfound alot about evap lines on the clear blue tests so I went out and got one of the digital tests, I didnt take this until thenext morning with my first pee,but it came up negative
. So off I went to my doctors very confused. I explained all of the above and she just didnt seem interested, I had kind of thought that maybe they would do a blood test, but all she said was and I quote "it doesnt sound like your pregnant to me". Im wasnt on any birth control as anything I have tried so far really sparks off my migrains. My partner and I just use condoms,there have been occassions where the condom has split but he knows right away, sowe stop and change it. I also explained all of this to the doctor, but still she didnt seem concerned about a possible pregnancy or the abnormal bleeding. 15 mins later I left with a prescription the mini pill (as she says these wont affect my migraines) and still alittle confused!!
She had told me to start taking the pill right away but to continue using condoms for the next 7 days. But me being me I decided to leave the pill to see if my next period comes along, Im now 4 days late again!! I havean appointment again at my doctors for this friday (with a different dr this time)and have been out and got another test that Ill doing the morning.
I havent really had any pregnancy symptoms at all I have this passed week developed thrush and constipation, could these be symptoms? I just dont know what to think, Im very confused!
One thing I have found out since all of this is that I am ready to have a baby, and my partner has said the same too, so we need to find out that if Im not pregnant, what is going on with my cycle so that we can start trying!!
