do you think you'll be having another one and who's thinking this is their last baby?

Just wondered whether anyone is planning the next or is certain they want no more.

also is anyone planning on having another soon after this one?

no way a couple of stuffings is enough for me :talkhand:

I would like another one but it won't be for at least 5 years. This baby was a huge surprise, I have to spend another year at uni plus 1 years placement and we're in a 1 bedroom flat which we bought just before I found out I was pregnant. So there's no way I'd have the time or money for another one.

I want one more but then really must stop after that, i think 8 is a nice number :D

see my LO was a huge surprise really hadn't planned him not that he was a mistake we was more than happy to welcome him into our lives, we'd only been together less than a year and had only been living together a month and had both agreed to take about kids in a years time (which would be now) so although he wasn't planned for now he was planned he just turned up a year early lol  but now that i'm pregnant we've been talking about having another next year dependant on situation of course but we've kind of surprised ourselves with talking about another and just thought i'd see if other people was in a similar situation

This baby was unplanned but very much wanted :D We are planning to have either one or two more, but wont be trying again until this LO is at least 2 I think...
We are planning to get married as well, hopefully spring 2011, so will probaby wait until we are married before increasing the family!! :D

Nope I dont want anymore. We always said from day one we just wantd one so im lucky enough to have him then im happy :D

yes will def have another one, hubbie wants one now!!!!!! just had freddy on 2nd jan! im an only child so hate it. Had C section so no painful labour and only went 27 weeks in pregnancy so nothing has put me off having another.

The jury is out for us. OH always wanted lots, I kind of thought I did but then again....! I think we'll see how two goes and then think about it really. It also depends on the character of this one in a way. Elliott is a fantastic, gorgeous little boy but the toddler years have been very very hard work as he's so quick, clever, stubborn, energetic and active to the point where rather like a Border Collie he needs to run around outside every day- if this little darling is similar I think the possibility of three live wires would be too much for me to consider without some kind of miracle energy and patience drug but we'll see! At some point I want to do some more studying too and get back to work full time and so each child would mean another 4-5 years of not doing that really (because of various factors) so I think we'll wait and see what happens!

Then again my mum regrets not having three rather than two so if we did it would probably just be one more....lets just say I shall put all the baby stuff back in the loft when this one if finished with it rather than getting rid of it just in case

the plan was to try again when lewis was 5 (well, see if the situation we are in would allow us to), but OH sat in hospital with me the other day and said those dreaded words - "no more after this one." part of me knows he is right and i really can't stand the idea of going through this again. if i knew i def wouldn't get OC again then there would be no question!

still i can live with only having one of each.

 i think the only number that i dont really like with children is 1, i cant imagine having one child or being an only child :(

If we wearnt getting married in 6 months i'd be trying for another already :)

When i first got pregnant i'd decided we would have to wait a bit for another baby but by the time she was here i'd already decided i wanted to stick to the original plan of having about a 2 year age gap and 2 kids. We'll be TTC the new baby when we intended to have our first originally lol, getting married according to the plan though (how sad is it having a plan)

I had a great pregnancy, no complications, and apart from having bad skin at first i felt really atractive, i also had a brilliant labour so nothing has put me off having another one

After my daughter (youngest of my current 3) we said no more and when we moved last we freecycled two buggys (one single one double), two cotbeds, stair gates, steriliser and loads of clothes. This little guy kind of surprised us both and caused alot of problems as my hubby had a really hard time adjusting to it. This will be the last partly cos I don't want anymore, and partly cos I don't think hubby would ever speak to me again if I fell with no.5 :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I won't be having anymore after this LO is born. I have 2 boys from my previous relationship and I had decided not to have anymore. But when my marriage ended and Jon and I got together something inside me just craved for another and I couldn't wait to give Jon a child of his own. So here I am :D and very excited, but this baby will be my last and that's my family complete.

I'm the first in my family to have more than 2 children too so thats caused a stir but my family can't wait :D

We probably won't have any more. This one was unplanned at the time, although we had discussed the possiblity of having 4 - just not for at least another year and only if finances allowed.

In fact, 2 days before we found out I was pregnant we had said that 3 was a nice number and it might be nice just to stop there. But then we wouldn't have our son on the way and things do feel more complete now.

I know my OH will get broody again at some point! He is also refusing the snip, so nothing is certain! Never say never!

Nope we're having NO MORE!!!

One of each is plenty for me, never mind OH!

alex was a complete surprise and being pregnant again took a lot of getting used to after 10 years. I'm 37 and OH is 45 so as soon as we found out he trotted off and had a vasectomy. I feel so utterly in love with this one that if he hadn't I would definitely want another one or maybe two. My first pregnancy ended in disaster, I had a section and really bad PND with Tim and despite some problems with blood sugar during the last pregnancy I really enjoyed it and had a fantastic labour. We feel completely different with Alex, really relaxed and enjoying him so yes I'd do it all again in a flash.

Definitely want more!

This is my first and although it was a surprise, it's great and has kick started my plans for lots of babies!! Would probably like at least 3 or 4 i think, but we'll see how the first one goes before i really decide
