Slimming World

Chase maybe you'll be lucky Andy not get any sickness this time around?

When does sickness usually kick in?

I started out so well today but now I've decided sod it today really is the last day of junk then I will be 100% on plan from tomorrow. I even went out earlier and got myself a nice new note book so I can keep a food diary going which always helps me massively.

I find it much easier when I'm writing a food diary too.

I didn't manage to stick to healthy eating at the buffet - I did eat lots of salad and fruit - but I also ate some cookies and brownies. Luckily husband had a buffet earlier as well and we're both stuffed so planning on having tea a bit later tonight and we're doing a stir fry so that will be nice and light :)

Oh stir frys, I love them but it's always a meal I forget about!

It's different for everyone Ive been around 9 weeks both times. I've had some nausea already though so I'm not sure.

I did shopping this afternoon so back on plan this evening. I am much more hungry than I normally am so I need to figure out what snacks I'll have I normally stick to my 3 meals and my tummy won't stretch that long even now

What are you guys snacking on

^^I try to snack on fruit and veg. I take chopped peppers, cucumber and cherry toms (sometimes carrot sticks), berries and grapes, then full fruit like pear, apple, apricots etc to work with me to snack on. I then also have some dry food like baked crisps, cereal bars for if I get really hungry or need something drier with morning sickness.

I need the dry salty things... I'm wondering if I can like cut up cereal bars and use them to tale the edge off

Chase there are a few cereal bars you can have on sw as one of your B choice. I love the Allen light bars but there all sweet. You can have 2 as a B choice. They're all sweet though. I'm not really sure on what you could have salty other than crisps.

Do you like cold pot wedges/chips? If you don't mind them you could cut some up, add some salt and cook them then pick at them?

Yeah it's the sweetness that annoys me... Why isn't thete a savoury bar!?

I'm going to get in some tins of new potatoes too and I can just chuck them in the air fryer.

I think I could ration out my bread too if I got the crust less that's 6 slices a day. If I have one at a time with maybe a wee bit of philli or something that should help.

This morning has started well, eggs on toast. No speed but technically you don't need it if havi g your heb.

Creamy cajun chicken tonight and not sure about lunch as my youngest turns 4 today and we are taking him to mcds for lunch then heading straight to my SIL. To help her do final prep for baby!

I don't love a savoury bar too chase, they're missing a trick there!

Very good idea with the bread! I may have to get some of that seeing as we can have 6 slices if needed!

Did you do ok for lunch? Hope your little boy enjoyed his birthday lunch.

I had an egg wrap this morning (the wrap was basically an omelette) filled with beans and salad cream and some melon.

Had a seafood stick roll for lunch with apple.

Tea is going to be jacket potato and campfire stew or maybe steak and chips. I can't decide.

I've picked a bit but I'm within my syns xx

I had a chicken nugget happy meal, not great but better than a large mccjicken sandwich meal I suppose.

Ive just been to group and I've put on 6lb since weigh in 3 weeks ago. Im a bit deflated.

Any who I'm feeling very focused and want to spend these early stages while it's a little easier to get right on plan and do well and shift about 7-10lb if I can.

Ive ran out of fry lite so heading out after dinner to pick up some more and some Pepsi max and dairy lea triangles so I don't have to measure

I'm. Going to keep a food diary so I can track my syns which I'm not at the moment

Sorry about your gain chase, although it sounds like you're really focused.

I had more naughty treats at work today, couldn't help myself.

Going to have half a tin of prunes tonight and don't think I'll snack on anything else as I'm stuffed still from tea. I think I'm going to gain a lot more than I'd like these next few weeks, going to try and be good next week but then we're on a cruise for two weeks, one week off again and then we're thinking of booking a cottage just to get away for another week.

Chase I'm with you I'd like & need to lose a few lbs but if we stick to plan, keep healthy that's all that matters right now.

A happy meal isn't bad in the grand scheme of things.

Ive had an Ok kinda day. Lots of fruit and veg. Minus the Lidl version of a magnum whilst sat in bed

Good day here so far. I must be in an hcg lull today as I don't feel pregnant at all. I'm enjoying it while it lasts!

Breakfast was egg and mushrooms and lunch was home made lentil soup and a roast chicken sandwich. Not really felt that hungry at all! I need to drink more though I think.

Chilli is in the slow cooker for this evening so I'll make PON chilli nachos.

I'm in my high-waisted jeans today because everything else is on the wash and my god I can't breathe :rotfl:

Oh haha chase. The first tri bloat is ridiculous isn't it.

Your day sounds lush.

I started out with a veggie sausage egg wrap (1syn) & melon.
Wm roll with light soft cheese and ham, Apple & seafood sticks for lunch.
Tea is campfire stew with jacket potato.

I've just messed up though and had 5crackers with cheese (which was my A choice) an alpen light (1/2 second b choice) and a Lidl version of milky way

I've been walking around for 4 hours today into town and back. Picked up some over the bump maternity jeans which are just so lovely and soft!

It didn't post the pic :rotfl:

Anyway.... Plan today is roughly...

Granola and yoghurt
Pasta
Creamy cajun chicken and rice

A wee walk up the hills, I'll go as far as I can and turn around

And I need to desperately clean my studio so that I can actually do some work and some sewing or I'm going to have a vee naked baby!

Well this has just got a little harder in one way for me, but easier in another. I've started with the heartburn. It's horrific.

So I'm going to be downing gaviscon which is probably quite high in syns, but I'm really not going to be synning that.

It'll be easier because I will have to avoid the following

-High fat foods
-Chocolate

But harder because I will also have to avoid the following

-tomato based things (seriously that's half of our meals out of the window now)
-citrus fruits
-spicy food (again that's half of the meals we have, although luckily I suppose if they're spicy they're also usually tomato based)

Creamy cajun chicken (make it mild)
Butternut squash mac & cheese
Chunany Chinese fake away go easy o. Chilli bit I'm thinking chicken fried rice etc

I've had heartburn since 3dpo :rotfl:

^^Thank you - some good idea's there

We went out today and had some bao buns, which I know are naughty and also they were a little spicy - but the heartburn hasn't been too bad, so I think my triggers yesterday were definitely orange juice and at lunch time I had a lot of bad things, so it could have been fatty food, chocolate or tomato that set me off. I'm going to try and avoid them all and just have one at a time if I do so I can decide which things make it worse for me.

We've been saying we make a creamy chicken and bacon pasta with light philli, salads with lean meat, stir frys etc
