slight bleeding - updated bad news

hi guys just looking for sme advice as to whether any of you have bleed in 2nd tri or is it just me.

I started bleeding very lightly last night and now iv woken up its a bit more but not in any pain or anything. Im not too worried as iv bleed more than this before and bubba is fine. I was just wondering really if it was common or not after 12 weeks.

Any advice would be grate please?

I think Oldermum had a bit around this time, I expect she will confirm this later! And a friend of mine had bleeding on and off throughout her pregnancy.

Hope it stops soon.

phone ur mw hun just to be checked out, i had a bleed at 13 weeks, everything turned out ok, but i still would get checked hun

Hi Tracey,

My bleed was at 15 weeks with my lad and 12 weeks with this one but my best mate bled throughout her prenancy,eg periods every month.

I'd still get in contact with your MW as she will need to know.

Get plenty of rest, please don't worry, if you can feel baba moving thats a good sign

Give your mw a call to set your mind at rest. As posted above a few girls experience this, but you must always notify your mw

Hi Tracey, I had a very slight bleed (coloured discharge) at about 18-19 weeks. Went to get it checked out and nurse said all was normal, closed cervix and probably a burst blood vessel due to increased vascular tendencies of bits when pregnant. If there is a lot of bleeding and it is very bright red then perhaps call your midwife but otherwise I wouldn't worry.

ive bled quite abit sinse 16 weeks. (pinky discharge)
On friday i bled quite abit of brown blood went straight the hospital where i was poked and proded in my un-menchenables!! doctor said everything is fine its just due to my hornmoanes (i have a 'raw bit on my cervix that when knocked bleeds) - after he poked around and took a sample i bled red blood but it went away after one bleed.
My doctor think its sex that makes me bleed and/or the hormoans.
(i can still carry on having sex as normal as baby is completly fine)

its horible the fear you have when you see the blood - i really feel for ya, menchin it to your midwife and she'll probably send you to the hospital if it consists to just make sure.

Ide at least check with the doctor, its probably nothing though, i know people who bled off and on their whole pregnancy

hi, i too bled at about 15 weeks, when i went to the hospital they said that unless it was accompanied with severe pain and cramps it shouldn't be any worry at all....i'm sure all is ok!

i had a bleed at 19 weeks, i went to the doctors and got told to wait till my 20 weeks scan, had my 20 weeks scan and everything was fine.
hope your ok hun, if your really worried id go to your doctors or call nhs direct

thanks guys,

not going to go in to much detail but i miscarried this morning, started bleeding lots more went to hosp but nothing they could do. Gotta go back tommorrow to make sure it has all passed iv just got home didnt want to stay over night.

im going to be away for a couple of days getting my head around it all, so il speak to you all then. thanks for all your support
