Hey girls,

Just wanted some advice. I was in the bath last night and the baby was the most active i have felt it yet...AMAZING :) It carried on like this until i more a less fell asleep, but at around 3am this morning i woke up with a really throbbing pain just above my pubic bone. Managed to get back to sleep the early hours of the mornin and although its not as bad i still have a real bad.

Any ideas on what it cud be or what i shud do?? Im 19 weeks today and iv not haf pain this bad yet, as its my first i really dont know what to expect and im worrying about bubba :(

xx

I'm not sure hun :( Pg does bring many aches and pains but if you're worried it would be worth ringing your Mw to see what she says

she just wreckons its the aches and pains of pregnancy hun as well. Its just its a bad bad pain thats all. Just gonna see how it goes xx

Probably stretching pains or bubs in a funny position. Pain without bleeding is usually nothing to worry about unless it's excruciating :)

i get that pain and my mum and next-door neighbour have both said stretching pains
it usually passes quickly so nothing to worry about :)
xx

i had a pain like that but ever so slightly to one side it was agony. but baby was just in awkward position and it was after a bath too.... mw told me if baby ever lying awkwardly massage oil into tummy for bout twenty mins and it should tease baby into more comfy pos. i thought it sounded daft but it worked for me :) xx

oooo thanks Lisa i will try that :D it has eased abit but its still there. thanks hun x

apparently it soothes baby anyway so even if it doesnt ease pain it will do baby some good and your skin !! i found my first stretch mark :( lashings of biooil on the go now lol xx
