I've read that sleeping on your left side is the best position for blood flow to the baby, but I have spent my whole life sleeping on my back and find it really hard to get to sleep on my side. Do you think this is ok?

I have just been reading up on this and they say the left side is better but if you are comfortable on your right side then stick to it. I am finding i am not comfortable on either side!!!! Sometimes I feel like I am squashing the baby and then fidget all night long!!!!! My poor OH hasn't been getting much sleep either because he is consious of me. I have got a pregnancy pillow which does help.

I think its natures way of easing me into the sleepless nights!!!!! :D

ive found from the start of my pregnancy that sleeping on my left side on a pillow since ive got abit bigger has always been more comfortable.

I also read this and try really hard to sleep on my left but always wake up on my right. There are pregnancy pillows about that might help you stay off your back, although lots of normal pillows will probably do just as well.
