Zachary slept from 10 until 5.30 last night, yay! Typical though that it was his dads turn to get up, I bet he wakes at 2 for me tonight! How are your LO's sleeping at night? Xxx

Sarah did a stint of 7 hours yesterday night and 6 and a bit last night - so hopefully she will continue to improve, its been 5 hours until then. Your bubs must be very content and full sleeping so well. I'm just starting to think about routine and keeping Sarah up longer in the day, now the children have gone back to school it will be easier!

I haven't even thought about routine yet, I really need to start doing it. Fingers crossed for a good sleep tonight. Hope your LO sleeps through too xxx

wow that sounds amazing! the most annabelle has ever slept for at night is 4 hours. and that was a one off. shes 3 hourly on the dot still! and last night she was the livliest happiest and chattiest babay ever from about 2am-5am!!!! nightmare x

Ha it was just a fluke! He has been up at 2am and 6am the past two nights! Xxx

Emily usually sleeps about 5 hours, up for about half an hour for a feed and back down for another 4 hours. not too bad, I would looooove her to go 9 hours staright through, lol. Can't wait for that day!!! x

Sarah did 7 again last night, although she went down at 8 - so think i might introduce the good old dream feed soon and cut out the early morning feed! I think weight can have a lot to do with it and she cluster feeds from about 5 so empties me! Weighed her yesterday and shes up to 13lb so would expect her to go through now.

Ooh I'm so jealous! Zach is about 9 and a half pounds now so hopefully the sleeping through will start soon....

What is a dream feed?

Its when you wake them during the night for a feed - their so sleepy its called a dream feed - i think! So if she /he goes down at 8 and usuall y sleeps between 5-7 hours you would wake them when you go to bed 11-12 and feed them hoping that they go through till morning,. I did it with all of my three before and it worked so shall be trying it soon x
