size 2 teats

When did you move up teat size?

Max keeps crying during feeds-but doesn't seem like a painful cry more frustrated so thinking or moving up a teat size, anyone got experience of this? Xxx

My LO is 16 weeks and I have only just moved her teat size up , I did try and change them earlier but the flow was to fast and she was gagging a lot . With some brand of bottles I know you can get vari flow teats that are suitable from birth xxx

Theo gets angry if the milk doesn't come fast enough, so he is on size 2 teats and is 7 weeks. He seems fine with them x

i have Alyssa on the variflow teats as she was screaming at her bottle, i think it was partly teething but now she finishes her bottles again where before she would fall asleep half way thru

We moved up to size 2 about a week ago at 9 weeks as she was snacking and falling asleep after only taking an oz or two, it's made such a difference and she's taking 4-6oz at each feed now I would try it and see how he does. You can always try the vari-flow ones.

Its weird cause I use tommee tippee for the gaviscon feeds (as I can shake it to dissolve) and dr brown for non gavis feeds and he's fine with tommee tippee size 1 no problems at all and always drinks more but dr browns he struggles with size 1. So I've put size 2 on the dr browns now.

Can't believe I haven't thought of this before I wondered why he kept not eating much and just falling asleep during the feed!!

I put leo on the variflow tommee tippee teats today at 3 weeks old as he was sucking the teat that hard it kept going inside the bottle :-/ xx
