how soon after a vaginal delivery can u start to do sit-ups to get ur flat tum back?

I think its after your 6 week check? That might just be for C section deliveries though, Im not sure

Im planning on taking loads of long walks to help lose the baby weight, then sit ups to get my tum back :)

There are some that you can do straight after birth but i cant describe them. The physio woman said that if you do a small sit up and you dont get a dome shape come up where you "six pack" would be then you can continue to do small ones for a while.

Sorry if not much use.

I had a normal delivery and was told to wait until after the six week check as if your uterus hasn't contracted all of the way back it can do some damage.

To be honest when your bubba is here you wont have time to think about excersing let alone doing it

I was under false thoughts that I was going to get into a size 8 - 10 in 2 months lol its been 3 months and im a 12 and while im breastfeeding its alot harder to shift weight as your body stores more fat for milk.

Im not going to bother until after I have finished breastfeeding as doing alot slows down your milk production, so dont try doing to much hun :)

six weeks is the norm. I started last week and it feels soooo good to be doing something for me again!

I get that now when I tense my stomach to get up, its weird when Im lying in bed and slightly sit up as though Im doing a sit up the middle of my belly goes like a hill

Does that mean my muscles are bad or good? :?
