Told my mate at work today that I was preggers (nearly 6 weeks). She took one look at my stomach and said "you look further than that. There's no chance your chemical pregnancy (which I had on 8th November,) wasn't actually a miscarriage and you're still carrying that baby?"

I remember getting a really faint positive test on the 5th November, but then started to bleed on the 8th November. Dont remember the period being particularly heavy, but to be honest it's all a bit of a blur......I don't think I bled for my usual 5 days.

Do you think there's a chance I'm 11 weeks and not 6???? I didn't bother doing any Test until I missed my December period......

I've got a scan on 6th January (should be 8 weeks or 13!!!)

thats a tough one. honestly couldnt say. i didnt look any different 6 weeks preg to 11 weeks preg, dont think u even start getting a bump til 14ish weeks. umm i suppose there is a possibility you could still be further along? i guess maybe chat to the doc and see what they say?

When I saw the MW yesterday she did laugh at my tummy and say "it could be twins"...but I just put it down to being bloated. I weighed 66.82 kgs on the scales yesterday, so I'm not exactly (big) - I think that's about 10.5 stone.

Most people look a bit bloaty at 5 weeks don't they? My stomach is rock hard though and I can't suck it in any more, it still sticks out!

Also she said I'd show quicker because a) i've already had a child and b) I had a c-section, so the muscles will be weaker because they were cut......

could you do one of those clearblue digital tests that tell you approximately how many weeks you are?

I'm about five and a half weeks and I look like I've got a little bump coming but it's all bloat (well bloat and pies!).
