I visited my boyfriend between 29th Nov-3 Dec. Sex was protected but I'm not on any birth control.
My 'period' started very unexpectedly on the 7th (not too far off it's usual time) but it came as a surprise as usually I will have signs such as cramps and a bit of bleeding before it fully begins. I did eat about everything in the house though?
Bleeding was sudden and VERY heavy from the start with severe cramps particularly on day 1. It was very heavy for 4 days - leaking through everything... - I changed pads, underwear, clothing and bed sheets numerous times.
Since then it has calmed down but there is still light blood every time I go to the toilet (usually by this point it is a different 'consistency'... and darker) but this is different.
I have had headaches, bloating, and on day 4 had Bad diarrhea - which I never have. Usually on my period I will have loose-ish bowels but this was severe and very painful, but back to 'loose' within a few hours.
I've also been nauseous (sick in my mouth frequently today especially)
Again - sorry for all the detail!
I know this is most likely over-thinking and being paranoid but this is unsual for me and I keep reading up on signs of early miscarriage. I'm unsure if these things are related or coincidental. Does this sound normal?
When I read over this it seems very unlikely, but I'd like to know!
