Jo, I've just seen your BFPs!!!! Congratulations
There could be reasons - other than twins - why you're noticing more "symptoms" this time around: after my cousin's m/c (she conceived about 2 months later), she found that her next pregnancy seemed to produce more symptoms even though she was only carrying one baby and she reckoned it was a good sign and was because:
a) it meant she had more pregnancy hormones this time around (and so would sustain the pregnancy), and
b) she realised that as she'd just had a loss, she was hyper-aware of every little thing with her new pregnancy.
Whatever the reason for your symptoms and whether there's one baby in there or 5

, I just wanted to say how delighted I am for you. You're a wonderful person and you deserve wonderful things to happen.
I'm really rooting for you, Jo. I'm almost as happy seeing your BFP as I was at seeing my own
Love,
Wendy
