I'm having a bad day.
Have felt completely and utterly drained since the moment i woke up this morning, add to that a backache, total nausea ( i can't even face having a glass of water for fear of throwing it back up) and i feel like i have the worst hangover in the world, my head spins every time i get up. I just want to crawl into bed and stay there. Luckily its the weekend here so my husband is home, so he took the kids out for a bit earlier and i tried to get some sleep but just couldn't relax, and felt like my eyeballs were squeezing their way out of my skull. Add to that i now feel guilty about not spending enough time with my littluns today and you get the picture....... :(

You sound a bit dehydrated to me hun - and that will make you more sick and headachey.

Try to at least have something to drink. I can't drink water well at the moment - but maybe a bit of cordial (I'm finding lime the best)? Also try and make it icy cold - that helps for me too.

Hope you feel a little better soon xxx

 Totally sympathise with you. Until a couple of days ago I felt just like you 24/7. Now I just have a really bad patch in the afternoon :) I can't keep anything down in the mornings or late evenings at the moment. I find ice lollies help and they keep me hydrated. The constant nausea is horrible but I keep telling myself it will pass in a few weeks. The unable to get out of bed all day feeling has just about passed (I hope) for me, fingers crossed it will for you soon too

xx

Tis absoutely sucky. But don't feel guilty about little'uns going out, I am sure they had a lovely time and you need to feel less rubbish first before you can have fun with the other kids. I think it does sound like you are dehydrated which is no surprise if you keep chucking up, the ice lolly idea sounds good and trying sips of water. Rememeber if you vomit there is always something the body finds to chuck up :( with or without eating.

Hugs and hope you feel better soon.

P.S my nausea/sick was pretty bad...but think it's coming to the end yay!

Thanks girls. Sometimes it helps just to write what you're feeling.
I have now been to three supermarkets and cannot find one packet of ginger biscuits anywhere. Made some gingerbread cookies yesterday but they just taste like flour to me!!!
I forgot about the ice lolly thing, i used to have those a lot with my first pregnancy. Will definitely try and seek some out (hope they're not impossible to find too!!)

Caffeine free Diet coke used to help me. The fizz stopped me from feeling sick. My friend also used to suck lollys which would help her too.
