Shuffling over here on sunday

Hiya ladies,

I'm shuffling over to third trimester as of Sunday and wanted to familiarise myself with you lovely ladies.
Some of you I know from tri 2 (hi ladies *waves happily*) and the rest of you I'm not too familiar with so it kinda feels like the first day at Uni again lol. :s
Can't wait to waddle over here as it means I'm closer to meeting my Lil boy

So for a Lil "get to know you" fun, just a few questions:

*what team are you? (pink/blue/yellow)
*what's the funniest thing that's happened in ur pregnancy so far?


My answers: I'm team blue

The funniest thing that happened to me was when baby first kicked, I didn't know what it was....I woke up hubby, jumped in cab and dived into A&E in hysterics and said to the nurse that there was something wrong as something shifted. She did a scan n laughed at me. The shifting was baby kicking n moving. I was 20 weeks.
I panicked bcos all the books I read said I wouldn't feel a thing til I was 26 weeks.

I felt like a donkey lol

So I'm team pink (90% anyway), baby better be a girl cos my nursery is pink, pink and more pink!

I think the funniest thing that's happened so far was actually last night, I had proper baby brain going on! OH was already in bed and so I went to switch the light off. Flicked the switch, nothing happened. I was like 'babe, what's going on?', flicked it again, still nothing. He scrambled out of bed to have a look at the light while I stood turning it off and on. Thought our light was somehow broken 'on'.
Turns out I was turning the plug socket on and off which is about 2 foot underneath the light switch...wondering why it wasn't turning the light out!!

My daily fight with the kettle. I put water in it, come back n shout at the kettle......I always forget to click it on

Funniest thing so far - (sltill plenty of time!)

A few weeks ago at 28 weeks, I spent 10mins while driving the car in the rain to the hosp, looking for the switch to turn on the back window wipers! I had no idea where they were, like a new diriver! We have had this car for about 9 years now! Pregnant brain strikes again - I finally found it by pure fluke and trial and error!

I am team Blue and funniest thing or rather stupidest thing that has happened to me during pregnancy has been my baby brain when I was asked what star sign Jesus would be and I said well I don't know when he was born!! I looked so stupid when I realised what had just come out of my mouth!

hi again hun!! good to see you here. we are team yellow and really have no preference to boy or girl, just a healthy baby would make us over the moon either way. i have lots of silly ones but best one is when i left the keys in our new car and left it ticking away in the car park!! (is 2009 plate woops#) glad no one tookit and gubbie realised!! xx

I think the funniest thing that happened to me was today went to visit my nan and my dad has brought a new car, I went in to use the toilet came out went to get in the car and climbed into someone elses car the same make, so embarrassed. Ooops xXx

Hmmm, funniest thing so far ... there have been rather a few stupid moments! But i'd say the funniest thing would probably be accusing my hubby of trying to poison me with semolina cause he'd left eggshell in my scrambled egg ... only for him to tell me he'd made me egg, not rice pudding!

I did go a bit mental which made it even more embarrassing when he started pi55ing himself laughing

He loves it though, cause i'm usually the one who picks him up on saying stupid things, i think he's banking all my prego brain moments and is going to throw them back at me every time i pull him up on something!!
