I have to see my midwife in two weeks but I'm a Lil confused.
She can be grumpy n economical with the truth so let me ask you ladies

Can u ask to be induced instead of waiting for labour to happen?

I'm 4"11 n I look like I'm 8 months. I'm scared that baby is too big for my frame.
I'm extra scared that I'm going to give birth to a 9/10lb baby :(help

If mw is concerned wiv the size of ur bump she'l send u for a growth scan. If that shows an exceptionally large baby then the consultant may decide to induce u but not until ur nearly due (approx 38 weeks) I think xx

I'm only 26 weeks plus. But I'm so shook that I will get to 38 weeks, go into labour n give birth to a full sized toddler :s
Maybe I'm scared prematurely but I can't stop thinking about labour n birth.
After being in hospital n hearing 3 ladies screamin as they were in labour I'm frickin scared.
On woman had a 9lb 7oz baby......thats not a small baby :/

Don't worry as you are tiny, I'm sure that's one of the things they will keep a close eye on later on X

A colleague was same size as u had a 9lb 8oz baby said she had a wonderful labour and that bigger babies are not as bad as i would think my mum is only 5ft and had a 9lb 5 baby, 10lb 9 then a 10lb 1 which was me so i am dreading having a big baby but midwife thinks between 8 and 9 lb for me!

My mom is 5ft tall and had a 10lb 1oz baby. He was over 2 foot long! You'll be amazed at what your body can do. Plus being induced wouldnt solve this because baby would still be coming out of your pelvis. Surely it would have to be a c section? Ive been told bigger babies are easier to push out?! x
