I am posting this because my mum is very old fashioned and thinks pregnancy is 'private' and bumps should be covered up. lol :D
I am totally open minded and find it funny when she says things like this. I guess it is a matter of opinion though.

What do you all think about this?

i think it depends i wouldnt have got my bump out at 30+ weeks because of the stretch marks but now and then earlier on my bump would make a break for the daylight! In this heat as well i say get them out girls!!

i always walked around in short tight lil tops :)

Oh no, i think it's horrendous, I don't think pregnancy was an attractive time in my life tho. I do cringe tho when I c big bumps hanging out. I suppose I am old fashioned like ur mum!

I think tops that show a bit of your bump are lovely! My tummy is the tightest and most toned its been in years at the mo' and I have a top that has a split in it that shows my belly ring while I can still wear it. You spend so long waiting for your bump I think its nice to be proud of it before it gets too huge. Also it depends on what you wear it with but loose linen trousers with a tight top is nice in my opinion :D

I think its fine if you have a nice bump. I would definatly get mine out but i'm to flabby and covered in strech marks now so theres no chance. Why not in this weather!

get it out and be proud!

altho saying that, if i was really big before the pregnnacy then got to 30 weeks and it still just looked like flab then i wudnt, but if uve got it flaunt it!

i agree, i have never had one of those perfect football bumps, if i did i would put it on show all the time.

xxx

i dont think people should, i dont know why i just dont like seeing people walking around with there bumps outs - although i dont like people walking around with there tummies out anyway wether there pregnant or not.
Iv also seen women with there bumps out when its snowing - surely that isnt safe for the baby!!

I think showing a bit of bump is wicked; pregnant and proud!! However, I think showing off your bump when your about to drop is a bit excessive!

i like to show a bit of bump if i have low trousers on but i dont show all of it coz i have just started getting stretchies:(

I personally hate it. I don't even like to wear tight tops, which is getting a bit of a problem now!!

I've got no stretchmarks, and my bump is quite tight and football shaped (although on the large side), but I would never get it out in public.

Each to their own, but I don't like it.

personally i think bumps should be covered up. they aren't attractive to anyone but you and the father of your child.
I hate to see girls walking round with their bumps hanging out

i like my bump and i like my tits but i wouldn't walk arpound topless.

thats my opinion anyway :D

I ssppose early on when there is a neat little bump is not so bad, it's when you see a big belly with loads of stretch marks that makes me cringe !!

hehehe, when I'm at home I always have my bump hanging out (well to put it nicely out on display). I was actually in the park on Saturday and had my bump out as well - I did ask if any one was bothered, and I didn't go for a walk about with my bump out, but I just feel more comfortable when relaxing to not have it covered. Fortunately so far I've had no stretch marks and it is a fairly tight bump with a nice stretch tatoo on it (I know that probably makes some of you cringe, but honestly it's not that bad!), besides I'm sure baba could do with a wee bit of sun as well  ! And no one seemed particularly repulsed by my bump and I was also in the company of both my mom and mother in law!!

It's not for me, though I think it depends how you dressed before pregnancy.

I'm the wrong side of 25 for belly tops anyway! :(

I think that a big bump is something to be proud of, I personally wouldn't have my bump hanging out, as I have stretchmarks from my previous pregnancy and just wouldn't feel comfy, but then I am not confident in my body anyway - but each to their own!

Live and let live - ce-la-vie!
