Bathroom, or find me an image of your perfect bathroom if money was no object...

I have the most horrid bathroom, think crumbling artex and plaster, leaking toilet , shower and sink and no shower head (so basically we shower under a tap)

I have been dying to get this room sorted and after 2 weeks of no heating whilst having my boiler replaced *brrruhhh* I can now have the bathroom of my dreams ..... But I am compleatley stuck for ideas!

Help me girls!

Well this is my bathroom (as pictured in the brochure last year when we bought the place) and least favourite room in the house. It's small and we don't have gas so need an electic shower. We had just finished decorating the living room and bedroom when I found out I was pregnant. The bathroom and huge hallway were next on our to-do list. I've got the summer holidays off next year and will be paying for nursery for Becky so she'll be in a couple of days a week. During that time my uncle and I are going to do up the bathroom. Won't be fancy, just a white suite, white and some bright mosaic tiles (not the whole room, far too much cleaning involved for my liking) and some lino on the floor.

I win the awards for the mankiest bathroom hands down!!!! We havent decorated it yet , its the last room and the only one we havent renovated yet, and its absolutely utterly completely disgusting!!!! The tiles are soooo crooked and brown grout mmmmm!!! YUK!

Haha but you have a shower i hear you say, nah we fitted that only to find there was no wiring left in the wall, it has never worked and never will at this rate!!! I want a shower

After xmas I will be having the new bathroom, they are stripping it back to brick and I am having a free standing bath suite and quadrant shower

Do you live at my house? unfortunatley I tick both those boxes plus the shower leaks too so I have one small tub under the toilet out let (which we have just found out is asbestos for small drip , the inlet has a huge leak that started the other day and rained in on my kitchen so I have a huuuugggee bucket under that and the shower enclosure front has been riped up to expose the pipe work where i have black bags and towels down to again stop it raining into my kitchen....

why do they have glass doors in bathrooms?!! luckily mine is frosted so makes you bum look huge and misshapen...oh no thats my mirror

LOL that reminds me of a house we viewed. The bathroom and toilet were seperate and both painted in matching colours. They both had a white suite and an irn bru theme. The walls were bright orange and the woodwork (skirting, windowsill, door) were all painted royal blue.

lol that sounds very similar to mine - it was hell with hangovers and later with morning sickness. I cannot wait till next year when we can decorate it

Haha this thread makes me laugh, i raise you a broken light fitting and nicotine stained door with broken handle. Oh and a set of leaky taps.....

Note the half stripped artex and plaster, we call it the distressed look
Avacado loo and sink, did that colour suite ever look nice?

we had a leak that was directly onto bare electric wires where the light pull was- dangerous much!! This is where the roof collapsed

New addition last week, note the huge bucket to catch leaky inlet pipe, I have to empty this twice a day

I actually got the programme DIY SOS wanting to do it up for us, i spoke to their production workers for quite a while but alas the room was too small for them to film in By feb I will have a beautiful room though!

I really like the way you still keep all your nice things on the wall though, like you know the wall is shit, but the pictures and nice boat shelf just take away from all that!

Ive always had a crap bathroom from when I was tiny, always moldy, always cold.

now though I have a gorgeous bathroom.. I actually believe it was the the main thing that sold the house to us.
