jess wants to dress up as a super heroe, more to the point, superman. She isnt a girly girl and has thomas pj's and hates frilly dresses but im worried folk might think im weird letting her.

Im not sure, any suggestions?

let her who cares what other think. halloween is for children to have fun so just let Jess enjoy it.

Dior is the opposit, she is a girly girl

but im dressing her as a big fat pumkin rather then a little witch dress.
she looks like a boy with her short hair and pumkin outfit.

i was a tomboy when i was lil

Id say let her wear the costume she wants. Otherwise she might be unhappy all night if she is dressed up as something she feel uncomfortable in, just because other people think she should dress up in a girly costume.

My neice wants to be dressed up as Dorothy from wizard of oz this year, but her mum wont let her and has got her a witch outfit, i know its going to make her unhappy all night as she keeps saying " mum im not the wicked witch, im dorothy!" bless her. :D

Thanks, I went to the shops today and bought her a pumpkin princess dress. Bad idea so its going back and we are getting the superman costume and I will see If I can get a red skirt and she can go as supergirl.

Such a strong willed girl :D

ah bles - my neice is just the same - they always want to be the princess/heroine and never the wicken witch or wicked queen!

Laura i'd let her go as sumerman/girl if she wants - kids dress up as all sorts so i doubt anyone would notice anyway!
hope she has fun!
