Maisy has had a brilliant sleep pattern up to now, awake at 4.30 for a quick bottle then straight back to slleep till morning.
now she is waking loads and its all because she cant stop moving her hands. they are busy busy all the time.
she holds her ears, eyes, chin, anything, then as she is falling asleep, they start to drop down which makes her jump and wakes her up.
any ideas??????
apart from fixing velcro to her baby grows, cant see me getting over this one.......

does she roll onto her tummy? Until they can roll they can be wrapped. Or maybe she'd prefer to sleep on her tummy? If she's holding her head up and rolling maybe she would settle on her tum, that way her hands wouldn't be able to 'fall' if you know what I mean?

just a suggestion.......

she has never really been happy on her tummy. she always sleeps on her side but through the night ends up on her back.......

shes too big??

you can usually wrap them fairly easily till there about 9 months (when they really do get too strong)

we can still do it with hannah and shes massive.

Just get a cot sheet if you have no plankets big enough, and wrap it tightly around her whole body a few times. (this also makes the baby feel really secure)
We HAVE to do this every night otherwise hannah would never sleep cos her hands are everywhere!!

erm.. dont know really - hannah never feels too hot. We dont put the radiators on in her room - so she just has the sheet round her. Somtimes i put a thin blanket on top even if i go in and her cheeks arent warm.

propped her on her side with a rolled up towel to stop her rolling on her back as this seems to be when she wakes and it worked. she woke once at 3.30 for a bottle and was back in her cot on her other side by 3.50.
