hey ladies

started getting contractions last sunday, I ignored them thinking that its just normal braxton hicks contractions so I went to the doctor today , routine appointment and found out that I have to take it easy because my baby is likely to come early. got meds to stop the contractions and am now on "semi-bedrest"

pisssed because my house is filthy and everytime I try to clean the contractions come back.

have to really start preparing for this baby, cos she might come earlier than expected.

Blimey! You have to try and take it easy then for the next 5-6 weeks, do things little by little or get someone to do it for you good luck!

Off the topic.... been in switzerland for as much amount of time as Ive been pregnant, but not from the uk, south africa,my husband is swiss,so we decided to give switzerland a shot for one year, but looks like we're staying, this was just the best pregnancy forum I could find.

Oh, exciting! My other half might possibly take on a job in Switzerland as well and was wondering how difficult it is to settle in at first etc. But its obviously different for you it definitely is the best pregnancy forum! Good luck with everything!

It wasn't that bad, but you really have to have something to do. I was still studying when we came here, but because of the language barrier, couldnt finish this year, so Im taking German for a year, and hopefully Ill be able to continue next year.

been sitting infront of the computer for the past 7,8 months. not fun!!!
