Sharp/shooting pains in hip area

I've been getting a sharp type of pain, maybe like a shooting pain in my hip area, it's not really painful more uncomfortable and isn't bothering me much but i've not been pregnant before so just checking this is normal?

I have the same (in my right side) have spoken to the Dr over the phone and they said iit could be just where womb is growing. Or where muscles loosen up duribng pregnancy could have strained amuscle when stretching or lifting something etc. I have my first midwofe appt today so am going to get it checked by her. xx
