Ok. So I know they say that it's up to you when you start having sex again and that there's no correct time but...

Is it ok to start while you're still 'bleeding'... I'm at the really light barely anything stage where I lose like a drop or two every couple of days... More like heavy discharge than anything else... But do I have to wait for that to stop? After DD this stage lasted WEEKS!! Like about 5 weeks and I might go mad if I have to wait that long lol xx

Ok, so I've read online that so long as the bright red blood has stopped (which it has) it's ok...

However I also read a lot of horror storied about having sex too soon...

I feel ready, and everything feels ok down there. My stitches have healed and I'm not in pain...

How soon did people start having sex post childbirth? Would you say 3 weeks was too early?

I didn't have this problem after my daughter as FOB booted us out when she was 2 weeks old so there was no one to have sex with ha ha ha xx

Hey hun,

I did mean to reply earlier but got waylaid (excuse the pun )

I felt unusually horny after having James. So from about day 5 onwards I would have dtd. We didn't though and tiredness then kicked in!

I only bled for 2 weeks and it was very light for most of that. However we didn't have sex until we were about 4 weeks post baby? It was lovely!

We were about 4 weeks after an episiotomy. Think that was a bit soon for us tbh. Tried again at 6 weeks and it was fine x

I had a very minor tear. Had a couple of stitches but nothing in comparison to after DD xx

I had an episiotomy with my son, and waited for 5 weeks as it was my partners birthday and it all worked fine!!! We used a condom....I am now 29 weeks in to my third pregnancy.....be carefullllll!!!!! X

We used a condom (an "extra safe" one lol) so fx I'll be safe ha ha

It was 5 months for me last time. Mainly 'cause I was single but I had a lot of stitches and was generally very uncomfortable down there for a good 3/4months... Feel fine this time though xx
