A bit of a personal one but how many of you are having sex during the 1st tri?

Basically, DH and i haven't done it since finding our we were pregnant. We started to get frisky over the weekend - so we consulted the pregnancy book and decided not to go any further.

I know we won't hurt the baby as such, but i'm terrified it may bring on a mc or bleeding.
DH completely understands, in fact he was the one that stopped it.

Come 2nd tri and hopefully that will be a different matter :shhh: !!!

I was the same, since finding out we haven't wanted to but over the weekend I finally felt a bit more relaxed and it happened but I still had a little panic and DH was so lovely and has been very understanding and patient.

Obviously just go with the flow and what you feel comfortable with and I am sure you will be fine. If you have any serious concerns you can always speak to your GP or midwife about it just to help you feel more at ease with it.

We abstained for the first 12 weeeks. The advice we got was not to if you had a previous miscarriage, but given that this was our first, I didn't know if we were at increased risk of miscarrage so decided not to risk it anyway. It had been fine since though, although too tired most of the time to contemplate it! I did find I was a bit drier than normal, but got some lube to combat this. I think if you're worried you wouldn't enjoy it much anyway, and there are always other methods to entertain each other!

After having 1 mc last year, I haven't let my o/h anywhere near me since we found out this time round. He is understanding to a point but still has the odd moan!! I don't think I would be so bad if I didn't feel sick all the time but that just puts me off too. Heres to the 2nd tri and feeling like a person again instaead of a poorly beached whale!

Or making him do all of the cooking and cleaning, as you feel far to sick to venture into the kitchen or pick up the hoover!

Don't worry it's fine to do it. I have - well not the most rampant ever but, It was very nice. Go ahead, you can't hurt the baby or bring on a MC.

i started bleeding quite heavily after having sex when i was 6 weeks. after that doc told us to not have sex for at least two weeks. everythings is fine now, except that i just dont feel like it!!! it the cause of constant arguments and tension! i tried the computer game things but it only worked for a few days unfortunately!!! Anyway, hes away for a week now which means i can go to bed and fall asleep in peace without getting hassled!!! i do hope this changes is tri 2 though. i would like to have my normal sex drive back!
