Ok..

I'm slightly worried of having sex whilst in early stages,
Me and OH used to have sex every night.

Now its more like 1nce or twice a week, i'm not really bothered, but its nice because its nice to feel wanted (when your feeling overweight etc..)

Anyway before i tell you girlies my whole life story lol..

Whats your views on sex during early stages? xx

My doctor/ m/w never mentioned anythin,

i didnt have a m/c.. i had a chemical pregnancy in Dec..

and worried i should be more careful..

sorry if TMI, but we used to be rough,

now alot more careful and gentle.. but def dont want to risk this pregnancy xxx

Is it OK to have sex during pregnancy?
As long as your pregnancy is proceeding normally, you can have sex as often as you like. But you may not always want to. At first, hormonal fluctuations, fatigue and nausea may sap your sexual desire. During the second trimester, increased blood flow to your sexual organs and breasts may rekindle your desire for sex. But by the third trimester, weight gain, back pain and other symptoms may once again dampen your enthusiasm for sex.

Can sex cause a miscarriage?

Many couples worry that sex during pregnancy will cause a miscarriage, especially in the first trimester. But sex isn't a concern. Early miscarriages are usually related to chromosomal abnormalities or other problems in the developing baby — not to anything you do or don't do.

Does sex harm the baby?
The baby is protected by the amniotic fluid in your uterus, as well as the mucous plug that blocks the cervix throughout most of your pregnancy. Your partner's penis won't touch the baby.

Found this on internet, hopefully its true? xx

i dont see why not hun just take it slowly and if you want to then go for it otherwise just mention to m/w or gp if your at all concerned

Unless you've been advised not to by your doctor etc then there is no reason to not have sex. Just have to feel like it

Charlotte posted some findings and they pretty much sound like the standard advice :)

Sherlock's right, it shouldn't do any harm unless you've been told to abstain.

Difficult as it is we are abstaining until we speak to the doctor, and had advice to try not to until 12 weeks. I think this is if you have had m/c before - I had heard that the sperm can trigger the cervix to open - which is why it is supposed to be good when you are getting close to due date!! :D
Suppose each case is different - and so best to take advice from doc / m/w

to be honest, me and OH havent done it for over a week now, the thought of it makes me feel really poorly as i cannot face doing anything at the moment, OH doesnt mind though as he is a bit scared of hurting bean x

Your usually advised against having sex in first tri if you've experienced any bleeding.

Otherwise go for it

Sex is only an issue if you've been advised against it, tmi but my "baby daddy" wasnt exactly careful when we had sex and shes fine.
